LABOR FÜR STRUKTUR UND FARBE - BIEL/BIENNE

Labor für Struktur und Farbe

The "Labor für Struktur und Farbe" (structure and color lab) is my new art research lab, situated in the General-Dufourstrasse in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. It will start operating in late spring 2013.

Within the "Labor für Struktur und Farbe" I combine my research in the context of chemistry, crystallography, and materials science with my research in the context of the visual arts and design. My main research focus today is on:

  • arts materials, local resources and related production processes
  • periodic space structures and periodic surfaces
  • manifesting the research process

The "Labor für Struktur und Farbe Biel/Bienne" will start operating in Spring 2013.
It is designed as a continuously operating art research installation and manifests thus my ongoing research projects on colors (especially natural dyes and pigments), as well as on space structures and periodic surfaces. The "Labor für Struktur und Farbe Biel/Bienne" is open to also host neighboring artists' activities, such as CLUB DUFOUR Nr. 138.
