The "Labor für Struktur und Farbe" (structure and color lab) is my new research lab situated in the General-Dufourstrasse in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.
It will start operating in spring 2013. |

The "Labor für Struktur und Farbe" is designed as a continuously operating art-research-installation and will manifest my ongoing research projects on colors (especially natural dyes and pigments), as well as on space structures and periodic surfaces.
The "Labor für Struktur und Farbe" combines thus my research in the context of chemistry, crystallography, and materials sciences with my research in the context of the visual arts and design. Findings might evolve in art work, in design projects, in educational projects as well as in scientific publications.
The "Labor für Struktur und Farbe Biel/Bienne" is open to also host neighboring artists' activities. |
